Robbie Blakley
Dental Assistant
Robbie is origianlly from Etowah where she currently resides with her husband of 25 years, Sam. Robbie and Sam have two children, Tony and Boomer. Robbie met her husband while she was in the Navy and Sam was serving in the Marines, stationed in Rota, Spain. Robbie trained and worked as a dental assistant during her tour of duty. Robbie then moved her family back to her hometown and began her civilian career with Dr. Larry Abbott. She worked for Dr. Abbott for 19 years as a dental assistant until Dr. Pate took over the practice in 2010. Robbie loves spending time with her family, attending sporting events, reading, knitting and traveling. When you meet Robbie, you will feel as though you have known her all your life as she treats you as if you are family. By the end of your appointment, Robbie will have discovered someone you know in common as she knows almost every resident in Etowah.

Caycie Layne
Dental Assistant
Caycie has been working as a Certified Dental Assistant for the past 14 years. She is originally from Englewood and grew up going to school at Mountainview and Central High School. She currently resides in Englewood with her husband of seven years, James and their three children. Caycie and her family enjoy following Tennessee Football, working outdoors in their garden, and spending time at the lake. Caycie loves to learn, read and train in different areas to expand her knowledge of dentistry. She has attended multiple training classes for the various new technologies in the office to assist Dr. Pate in creating Cerec Crowns and placing Dental Implants. As Dr. Pate's assistant, she will be with you during your entire procedure to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed. She is always kind, patient and happy to answer any last minute questions you may have. She never lets anyone leave the office without telling them to 'call her' if they should have any questions after the procedure.

Cat Pate
Treatment Coordinator
Cat is married to Dr. Raymond Pate and they have two children, Blake and Lauren. Blake is a Chemical Engineer and currently lives in Charleston, SC with his wife Jessica. Lauren is a Sophmore in high school and enjoys playing basketball and Tae Kwon Do. Cat is originally from Wichita, Kansas and met Dr. Pate while she was attending college in Alabama. Cat works as the Treatment Coordinator for the practice. Cat also takes care of the insurance filings for the office so feel free to ask her any questions concerning your policy. She will be happy to call your insurance carrier on your behalf and assist you in maximizing your benefits. Upon your arrival, Cat may be the first person to greet you in the waiting area. Cat loves spending her free time traveling with her family, camping, biking, reading, & attending sporting events in the community.
